Forest Service Seeks Tech Help: <@VM>Energy Office Wants Management Support:<@VM>State Department in Search of LAN Contractor:

The Forest Service's Meaningful Measures Coordination Center is looking for technical support for system implementation and related issues. The Meaningful Measures program measures asset management and accomplishments in national forest recreation areas.

Support includes developing database, spreadsheet and other applications; maintaining the Meaningful Measures Web page; and delivering application and management system training, troubleshooting, technical support and awareness.

Support is needed in program and budget planning and formulation; program and budget execution; human resources program initiatives; and general administration.

The procurement will be a small business set-aside contract for two years with three one-year options. The solicitation is only available at the Energy Department's DOe-center at Proposals must be submitted through this Web site. Solicitations are due May 15.The U.S. Section of the International Joint Commission, United States and Canada, is looking for a contractor to manage the local area network for its Washington office.

The LAN is one of three in the IJC system; the others are in Ottawa and Windsor, Ontario. Although this request for proposal is only for the LAN in the Washington office, its upgrades, management and future development depend on coordinating activities with the other two IJC office LANs.
