The Biometry Research Group at the National Cancer Institute is looking for a provider of computer-related technical support services. This is a small business set-aside. The services fall into three categories: data management, systems design and development, and statistical analysis and modeling. The request for proposal was scheduled for release Feb. 15, and can be found online at, under "Current Request for Proposals."
The Veteran Benefits Administration is developing a strategy to move its business activities ? compensation, pension, education, loan guaranty, vocational counseling and employment and insurance ? to an electronic environment. Interested businesses may attend a VBA presentation Feb. 28, which will provide an overview of the strategic e-vision. After the presentation, the agency will issue a formal request for information for interested vendors to submit capability statements addressing the agency's needs. Those interested in attending should notify Robert Page, task force coordinator, at Army Intelligence and Security Command is looking for an 8(a) business to provide multimedia and telecommunication equipment and services at the command's Fort Belvoir, Va., facility. The contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options.

The contract winner must have experience in imagery systems, television production equipment, video teleconference systems, computer and presentation equipment, and scheduling and coordinating conference rooms.

A sensitive compartmented information facility will be required to perform the contract. All personnel must hold top-secret clearance with a special background investigation, and they must meet eligibility requirements determined by the Army Personnel Clearance Facility by the date of the award, expected on or after April 1. It normally takes more than 12 months to obtain these clearances.
