GTSI Corp. of Chantilly, Va., will distribute the Pentax PocketJet family of portable printers and accessories to federal government customers.The products are targeted at mobile workers. PocketJet is a product line from Pentax Technologies Corp. of Broomfield, Colo. PocketJet is a small, lightweight, full-page printer.The agreement furthers Pentax Technologies' plan to expand its product reach by strengthening and enlarging the reseller channel."We offer a number of products to fulfill the needs of the government's mobile users," said Mark Zelinger, vice president of vendor relations and product marketing for GTSI. "This portable printer enhances the value of portable PCs and helps our customers do their jobs more efficiently."Progeni Corp., a developer of productivity tools for governments, and D.J. Miller & Associates Inc., a consulting and analysis firm, are teaming to pursue international government and commercial business markets.The two companies will provide consulting and IT services. Progeni, Atlanta, brings its advanced application development, testing and maintenance software tools. D.J. Miller, also of Atlanta, brings more consulting skills and analysis capabilities."This agreement reinforces Progeni's position as a leading provider of programming productivity solutions to those IT professionals focused on the maintenance, enhancement and/or transformation and migration of legacy applications," said Norman Praed, president and chief executive of Progeni.Cardiff Software Inc. of San Diego, a supplier of forms process and business automation solutions, is opening six regional channel manager sites around North America. The openings are part of an expansion of the company's reseller program. The company also is increasing its investment in marketing worldwide.In a related announcement, Cardiff named Emmanuel de Boucaud vice president of worldwide channel sales."Our increased investment in the Cardiff Certified Platinum Reseller Program recognizes that we can more rapidly grow our overall business through strong partnerships with VARs and integrators," said Dennis Clerke, co-founder, president and CEO of Cardiff.
