Anteon, Caliber Team to Take on Distance Learning

AUG. 14 ? Systems integrator Anteon Corp. of Fairfax, Va., and online education provider Caliber Learning Network Inc. of Baltimore are teaming to bring distance-learning alternatives to clients worldwide.


Under the agreement, Anteon will use Caliber as its preferred provider of distance learning network services, and Caliber will offer Anteon's content development capabilities to clients who require support to meet their performance improvement goals.


"Anteon is a leader in developing performance improvement solutions for federal and commercial customers," said Joseph Kampf, president and chief executive of Anteon. "Caliber's production facilities and learning centers offer us the ready-to-go flexibility to broadcast our custom-developed courseware to clients' desktops or to Caliber learning centers across the globe."


Caliber will gain access to Anteon's abilities for developing performance improvement content that supports client business objectives, said Chris Nguyen, president and CEO of Caliber.


"It is important for Anteon to be able to easily provide the communications infrastructure required to deliver custom performance improvement solutions," Nguyen said.


Caliber's WebCore suite of electronic learning solutions enables clients to broadcast both live and archived events to groups in Caliber-authorized learning centers as well as to individuals at Internet-connected desktops worldwide.

Services include streaming video and two-way audio as well as interactive online features such as whiteboarding, interactive question and answer, polling, audience tracking and management reporting features.
