AUG. 8 ? CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., gave its electronic commerce business another boost by signing a deal with Cyclone Commerce Inc. of Scottsdale, Ariz., to work together developing online trading community solutions.

CACI will deliver consulting and technology integration solutions to customers that put into service Cyclone's business-to-business electronic commerce, secure data communications management software.

The agreement with Cyclone is the second CACI has signed in the past week. Under an agreement with Commerce One Inc., Pleasanton, Calif., signed Aug. 2, the two companies are selling an online solution for contract management, invoicing, acceptance and receipt as well as electronic catalog procurement.

"Our goal is to provide a more comprehensive solution to our clients. We can now do that by combining our deep credentials in e-purchasing and e-payment with our relationships with Cyclone Commerce and Commerce One," said Mark Bloom, vice president for CACI's Web, e-commerce and enterprise systems business.

The agreement with Cyclone Commerce rounds out CACI's ability to respond to businesses looking to participate in B2B trading communities. Cyclone will provide B2B trading community infrastructure, Commerce One will provide B2B trading community exchanges and marketplaces, and CACI will provide the consulting and integration expertise, Bloom said.

"CACI is a clear leader in quickly deploying massive communities. We look forward to working with them in helping to build out these communities rapidly so they can reap the benefits of becoming e-businesses," said Kent Petzold, president and chief executive of Cyclone Commerce.
