SRA Wins $28 Million in Task Orders

JULY 19 ? SRA International Inc. announced July 18 that it was awarded two Army task orders estimated at $28 million, one to support the Military Traffic Management Command and the second to support the Program Executive Office, Standard Army Management Information Systems.



SRA's task order for the Program Executive Office could be worth as much as $22 million over five years. The task order was awarded under the Transportation Department's seven-year, $10 billion Information Technology Omnibus Procurement II acquisition contract, which is available to all federal and state government agencies. SRA's team includes Science Applications International Corp. and Logistics Management Resources.



SRA will provide unit deployment and systems administrator training for the Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movement Systems II, a Defense Department effort to improve the deployment planning process. Training will be conducted from the deploying unit to the commander-in-chief level at military installations worldwide.



SRA's task order for the Military Traffic Management Command could be worth as much as $6.3 million over four years. The task order was awarded under the command's Umbrella Information Technology Total Solutions contract.



SRA will analyze the command's practices and make recommendations for improvement. Its services will include data modeling and analysis, software development of prototype systems, integration of electronic commerce and electronic data interchange into the command's business processes and integration of automatic identification technology into operations supporting the deployment of U.S. forces worldwide.
