CAICI Snags GSA Management Solutions Contract

MAY 26 - CACI International Inc., Arlington, Va., won a Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services contract with the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Service.


The multiple-award MOBIS contract, awarded May 24, was created by the GSA to help federal agencies operate more efficiently and effectively. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.


CACI offers solutions to government agencies in the areas of consultation and facilitation services. The company provides consulting expertise in enterprise management and resource planning, business process improvement, information assurance, and logistics and supply chain management.

CACI's facilitation services focus on strategic planning, decision support, and consensus-building solutions.


Some of CACI's solutions can be tested at its Vision & Solution Center, a technical facility that enables clients to visualize and interact with proposed technology solutions prior to implementation, company officials said.

The center also includes hardware and software support for executive workshops, focus groups, and related management and planning activities.


"CACI has a lot to offer federal agencies through the MOBIS contract," said Ken Johnson, president of CACI. "Our understanding of both industry and federal enterprises enables us to provide solutions that help federal managers meet today's challenges effectively and economically."


The award will help CACI strengthen its relationship with GSA and demonstrate the company's ability to offer management solutions to federal clients, said J.P. "Jack" London, CACI's chairman and chief executive officer.


CACI is an information technology company providing products and services specializing in developing and integrating systems, software, and networks to government agencies and commercial enterprises.
