New Hires

TSI TelSys, Columbia, Md., named Joseph Pisula president and CEO and Paul Sevigny as CFO.

Formerly chairman and CEO of Network Storage Solutions, Pisula also served as president of Network Imaging Corp. Sevigny has been a director at TSI TelSys since January. Two years before, he was CIO of Abrar Global Asset Managers.

Klein Technologies Inc., Vienna, Va., appointed Bill Anderson as vice president of operations. Anderson will focus on managing KTI's commercial and government information technology services business. Anderson has held positions with SAIC, General Dynamics and PRC over the past 10 years.

CropTech Corp., Blacksburg, Va., appointed Brandon Price as CEO. Price was most recently the COO of Magenta Corp., a contract manufacturing organization for viral therapeutics.

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, hired Mike Thomas as a corporate vice president to lead development of the company's automotive practice. Thomas was with Ford Motor Co. for 30 years.

SmartDisk Corp., Naples, Fla., appointed Toshio Yajima to president and CEO, SmartDisk International Inc., and Quresh Sachee to vice president of marketing for SmartDisk Corp.

Yajima will formulate and execute SmartDisk's international sales and distribution strategies and oversee its international manufacturing. Sachee will oversee marketing and product development.

TopSpeed Corp., Pompano Beach, Fla., has appointed Gene Piken as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Formerly, Piken was director of worldwide business development for Progress Software Corp.

The Intelligent Transportation Society of America, Washington, appointed John Collins as president and CEO. Most recently, Collins was the principal of a consulting firm, Transportation Law and Strategy, and a consultant to the American Trucking Association.

MicroDisplay Corp., San Pablo, Calif., hired Allan Abbott as CEO to guide the company into the microdisplay industry. Abbott is founder of LCD manufacturing company Chisholm and Spectra Logic Corp.

APCO TRADEC, Seattle, hired Rollin Fatland, Sue Tupper and Eric Wilson as senior vice presidents. They will manage the company's public affairs division.

Spacehab Inc., Vienna, Va., appointed Anne Eisele director of corporate communications. Most recently Eisele was a staff writer at Space News.

Executive Moves

Internet Security Systems Inc., Atlanta, has added former Sen. Sam Nunn to the ISS Advisory Board. Nunn will provide strategic input to the company. ISS provides adaptive network security monitoring, detection and response software that protects enterprise information systems.

C2i Solutions Inc., San Diego, appointed Henry Frigon to its board of directors. He has served as a consultant and board member for H&R Block and Compuserve. Previously, Frigon was executive vice president of Hallmark Cards Inc.

General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va., has appointed David Savner to the newly created position of senior vice president of law. He is responsible for coordinating legal functions throughout the company's business units. Savner also became secretary of the corporation June 1, following the retirement of Paul Hesse, vice president of communications and secretary.

AlliedSignal Technical Services Corp. of Columbia, Md., has appointed Isaac Gillam to lead its Deep Space Network programs in support of the Jet Propulsion Lab's space exploration activities for NASA. Gillam has held several NASA posts, including assistant administrator of commercial programs, and director of the Dryden Flight Center. He also was a senior vice president with the OAO Corp.
