The city of Riverside, Calif., has outsourced its data processing to Business Records Corp. in Riverside. The contract is valued at $37 million.

The city of Titusville, Fla., Purchasing and Contracting Office, on behalf of the city's Department of Public Safety, signed a contract with Vision Software, Wilmington, N.C., to provide hardware, including the implementation of a wide area network.

The state of Missouri in Jefferson City has awarded a contract to American Management Systems, Chicago, for hardware, software and development for a financial management system. The contract is expected to exceed $5 million.

The Connecticut Office of Policy and Management, Department of Information Technology, in Hartford has hired CTA Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., to assess Connecticut's agencies for year 2000 changes as part of the Century Date Change project. The contract, awarded Sept. 19, is valued at $489,500.

The Illinois State Police in Springfield has signed up SCC (now Printrak), Boulder, Colo., to furnish and install a computer-aided dispatch system. The contract, awarded in mid-September, is valued at $6 million.

The Maryland Department of Budget and Management in Baltimore has tapped Computer Sciences Corp., Lockheed Martin Corp. and Bell Atlantic Corp. to provide cost-effective management and maintenance support and promote continuous improvement to any state agency's WAN/LAN. The contract is valued at $75 million over five years.

The Township of Montclair, N.J., has signed a contract with Impact Research Inc., Upper Montclair, N.J., to provide consulting services to develop a technology master plan. The contract is valued at $45,850.

The Rhode Island Department of Corrections in Providence has awarded Lucent Technologies in Providence a contract to replace the entire Howard Corrections Center telecommunications system. The contract is valued at approximately $10 million.
