PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE JOURNALISM

In your Internet 201 article on Netscape Communicator (WT, Jan. 9) you neglected to mention that Netscape Communicator will also be available for OS/2 and various Unix platforms. This early release was only for Win95 and WinNT.

Please try to tell the entire story. This is an excellent example of the kind of passive-aggressive journalism that any competition to Microsoft's operating systems have to contend with.

On the other hand, I appreciate your informative and favorable article on Netscape Communicator. What is going to substantially differentiate it from Microsoft's offerings is the greater range of operating systems it will run on.
