American Management Systems Inc., Fairfax, VA and DynCorp, Reston, Va., were awarded a fly-off contract worth $3.3 million in August 1996 for the Defense Department's Standard Procurement System (WT, Jan. 23). Plans call for a winner to be selected and awarded a contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars over the next nine years.
