Now open: nominations for 2020 Fast 50

We've opened the nomination process for our annual Fast 50 program that ranks the fastest-growing small businesses in the government market.

The nominations are coming so don't miss this opportunity to shine a light on the success of your small business by submitting a nomination for the 2020 Washington Technology Fast 50 rankings.

Click here to see and complete the nomination form. Nominations are due July 10.

Our annual Fast 50 program ranks small businesses according to their compound annual growth rate over five years. For 2020, we are looking at revenue numbers from 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

To qualify, you need to have at least $50,000 in government revenue in 2015.

Government revenue for the Fast 20 includes subcontracting work and prime contracting work in the federal, state and local markets. Work in the education field qualifies as well.

Companies submit revenue data for the five years, then we calculate the CAGR and rank the companies accordingly. The due date for nominations is July 10 and we’ll announce the Fast 50 in September.

It is important to note that revenue data is included when we publish the rankings. See the 2019 rankings for an example of how the data is presented.

As part of your nomination, we also are asking for information on your business such as capabilities, lines of business, major customers and major contractors. This information will also be published as part of our profiles of each Fast 50 company.

When the Fast 50 is published in September, the package will include the rankings, our analysis of the companies and profiles of several companies.
