Xator closes deal for InCadence

Xator has closed its acquisition of InCadence in a move that adds new contract vehicles and further builds the buyer's portfolio in C4ISR, national security and intelligence.

Who said a deal can’t get to the finish line in the middle of a pandemic?

Xator has closed its acquisition of InCadence Strategic Solutions Corp., an 11-year-old small business that gained a reputation as an innovator in the defense and intelligence sectors. In both 2016 and 2018, InCadence was a finalist for contractor of the year as part of the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards program. In 2018, InCadence was the winner in the under $25 million revenue category.

“(Our) acquisition of InCadence represents a very exciting combination of technical expertise and intellectual property, which will continue to serve our complementary client sets for years to come,” said Xator CEO David Scott.

InCadence is also bringing several contract vehicles to Xator, including the Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract, GSA Alliant 2 Small Business, and spots on several consortiums that issue other transaction authority contracts for the government.

Those OTA bodies include the Consortium for Command, Control, and Communications in Cyberspace, the Systems of Systems consortium, the Training and Readiness Accelerator OTA and the National Spectrum Consortium.

Picking up InCadence reinforces Xator’s focus on C4ISR, national security and intelligence solutions, the company said.

“It is clear that our strong cultural fit, complementary capabilities, and client focus will result in a compelling value proposition for our employees, customers and partners alike,” said Sandy Corbett, chairman and CEO of InCadence.
