New training session for Mastering Stakeholder Engagement open for registration

Registration is now open for the Aug. 2 session of our Mastering Stakeholder Engagement workshop where you can learn the skills and techniques to form a stronger bond with your customers.

Registration is now open for our Aug. 2 Mastering Stakeholder Engagement workshop.

The day-long training event will take a deep dive into the skills and techniques needed to connect with your customers and understand what they need and how you can help.

Often projects go off the rails because of poor communications and the misunderstandings that happened as a result.

Learning how to get the most out of customer relationships is the kind of skill that can separate you and your company from the rest of the competitive field.

Seating is limited for the Aug. 2 session that we are producing with our partner Mastering Business Development International. The day-long session will be led by James Allen, an executive who has managed multi-billion dollar portfolios of government business.

I also interviewed Jim as part of our Project 38 podcast. You can listen to that here.

This professional development course is specifically designed to help program and project managers understand the rolls, skills and activities they need to master so they can succeed in today’s market.

Some of the key skills to be presented during the training are:

  • Shaping and tracking relationships and opportunities
  • Understanding your client’s pain
  • How to uncover your client’s core issues
  • How to use a client engagement process to get beyond a personality driven client engagement

Some of the testimonials we received from earlier participants include comments such as:

“I not only learned helpful techniques for managing my clients from the instructor, but I also learned so much from my fellow classmates’ experiences.”

“The workshop has provided me key skills that will make me more effective in my role,” said another.

“It will change your thinking and will make you much more efficient,” wrote a third.

The Aug. 2 training will be at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner, Virginia. It starts at 8 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m. Click here for more information.
