Accenture Federal Services has won a $65.4 million Other Transaction Authority contract with the Air Force to work on a hosting project.

The company will be working on what the Defense Department calls an experiment for enterprise IT as a service. The OTA covers an experiment for services to bring a flexible and scalable hosting solution for applications and data, operation and maintenance of the compute and store environment, and application rationalization.

Work will take place at several Air Force bases: Buckley in Colorado, Maxwell in Alabama, Offutt in Nebraska, Joint Base Elemendorf-Richardson in Alaska, Cannon in New Mexico, and Hurlburt Field in Florida.

The OTA runs through June 2020.

Accenture officials declined to comment on the win because they didn’t have customer clearance to do so.
