Leading execs to share insights on 2019 strategies

Our Feb. 22 WT Power Breakfast will have a full slate of executives share their insights on 2019 and the strategies needed to succeed. Speakers include Perspecta CEO Mac Curtis as well as executives from Accenture, NCI, Peraton and more.

With the specter of another partial shutdown gone and unlikely to return, government contractors can put their full attention on the strategies they need to win in 2019 and beyond.

Washington Technology is hosting a WT Power Breakfast on Feb. 22 at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The event will focus on what contractors are doing to succeed this year and in the future.

We’ll kick things off with an exclusive presentation on our new WT Insider Report that looks at contractor confidence and insights on where the business community sees the market headed. I’ll give an overview of the report and its findings.

From there, we’ll kick off a parade of high-level executives sharing their insights on the market and the strategies their companies employing.

First up will be a one-on-one interview with Mac Curtis, CEO of Perspecta. The company opened for business last year through the merger of Vencore, DXC Technology's U.S. public sector business and KeyPoint Government Solutions.

Curtis will answer questions about how that unique merger is working out, what opportunities it is creating and what’s next for the company.

After that we’ll have a panel looking at the middle tier, specifically the challenges and opportunities for this group of companies.

This panel will feature Brad Antle, more recently CEO of Salient CRGT and former CEO of SI International; Paul Dillahay, CEO of NCI; and John Hynes, CEO of Applied Insight. These executives are strong believers in the importance of having a strong stable of mid-tier companies and how they can deliver value to their customers, investors and employees.

We’ll wrap the morning up with a panel looking at trends in business development and how that function is evolving.

Our panelists include Ira Entis, managing director of strategic solutions and emerging technologies at Accenture Federal Services; Fred Funk, newly-named chief growth officer for Everwatch Solutions; and Mike King, chief growth officer for Peraton.

That group will explore trends in BD and each executive will share their experiences building the kind of organizations that can deliver in today’s competitive environment. Each brings a unique perspective and plenty of lessons learned.

The event will wrap up by 11 a.m. Click here for more information and to register.
