Peraton cries foul over two lost NIH task orders

Peraton is pushing back against two lost task orders to support patient care and clinical data for the National Institutes of Health.

Interestingly, the task orders were competed under the Federal Supply Schedule and not the NIH CIO-SP contract.
The first task order is worth just over $3 million and went to Astrix Software. The work is for patient care coordination services for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s division of intramural research.
Peraton is claiming that it would have been picked as the winner if the evaluation was done properly.
The second task order is worth $7 million and was won by Medical Science & Computing Inc. This time the work is for clinical data management support services.
Peraton is making the same argument: it would have won if the evaluation was done properly.
The protests were filed July 9 and a decision is due Oct. 17.
