Booz Allen, Noblis share $202M DOT award

Booz Allen Hamilton and Noblis are competing for task orders to support intelligent transportation efforts under a $202 million contract with the Transportation Department.

Booz Allen Hamilton and Noblis have won spots on a $202 million contract to support the Transportation Department’s intelligent transportation efforts.

The two companies are competing for task orders to provide services to DOT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office.

The contract will be used to support research and development activities and legislation and regulatory requirements.

The contract was awarded in August but Booz Allen announced the win is week via a press release. DOT named the winners in an FBO.gov posting on Aug. 26. (And yes, WT should be paying more attention to FBO award announcements.)

Noblis announced in September that it won the contract.

Some of the efforts the contract will support include work on connected and automated vehicles, enterprise data, interoperability and testing of emerging capabilities.

Both companies have a history of working with DOT on intelligent transportation issues.
