Training, education sessions growing at ACQUIRE

Our company's new show ACQUIRE is quickly adding content to the lineup for its June debut, including agency-specific training and tracks for contractors looking to do more business with the government.

Our company’s new show, ACQUIRE, continues to develop nicely: Registration opened last month, and we signed a partnership with the Professional Services Council in December.

More details are now emerging about the content to be featured at the two-day education conference and tradeshow. The event is designed for acquisition and management professionals and will be held at the Washington Convention Center in D.C. on June 8 and 9.

ACQUIRE will be the place to be for training, education and professional development for those involved across the entire acquisition lifecycle.

And, of course, this includes contractors and the private sector, so we’ll be presenting a slate of programs that will help you be a better contractor. Details are still being worked out, but some sessions will focus on specific agencies and opportunities and others will take a broader look at how to navigate the government market.

We’ll have a special focus on small business opportunities and needs.

Right now several agencies have signed on to offer training and education including:

  • Army CHESS
  • DHS
  • GSA
  • NASA SEWP
  • NIH –NITAAC
  • State Department

Several companies also will be offering classroom training including:

  • Adobe
  • Management Concepts
  • TwentyEighty Strategy Execution
  • Xerox

The call for training courses is still open. Click here for more information. https://acquireshow.com/pages/training

ACQUIRE will have tracks on professional services, IT, office management, project management, acquisition management, and talent management. The show floor will have matching pavilions for exhibitors.

Through our partnership with PSC, they also will be developing content for the show as well.

More details are on the way including information about our keynote speakers. I’ll keep you posted on those.

I just wanted to write an update today and keep ACQUIRE on your radar. It will be a great opportunity for education, professional development and networking.
