DIA looking for IT roadmap

The Defense Intelligence Agency is looking for an IT roadmap to improve its decision making, budgeting and collaboration.

The Defense Intelligence Agency is looking for tools that can help it map its IT infrastructure.

According to a three-paragraph request for information, DIA wants a tool to build roadmaps at the enterprise architecture level to help leaders make better decisions.

“The roadmaps should be able to produce numerous graphical representations to help show the relationship between IT investments and strategic goals, business capability and technologies life cycles,” the RFI states.

With that information, IT organizations are better prepared to mitigate risk and improve collaboration, budgeting and planning. “The roadmap should include a timeline of the initiatives with approximate start and end dates, priorities, description and estimated cost and duration for each project,” the RFI states.

DIA is looking understand its current state and define the desired end state. It wants gap analysis and tools to display roadmaps in various forms such as Gantt charts, scatter charts, bubble charts, radar charts and others.

Responses are due Nov. 10. The current solicitation number is HHM402-16-Q-0002.
