Introducing the 2015 Top 100

Washington Technology has published its annual Top 100 rankings, one of the leading indicators measuring the performance of the largest contractors in the government market.

Our annual Washington Technology Top 100 is one of the leading indicators measuring the performance of the largest contractors in the government market.  For 22 years, we’ve ranked companies according the amount of IT, systems integration, professional services, telecommunications and other hi-tech products and services they sell to federal agencies.

This year’s rankings show the impact of many of the trends driving today’s market, including constrained budgets, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and the overall struggles of many companies to find revenue growth.

For example, the aggregate prime contracting dollars fell this year, the fourth year in a row that we’ve seen a decline.

I know most people are anxious to get straight to the rankings, so you can find them here.

A couple things to remember is that the rankings page is interactive and provides multiple ways to view the data such as by industry sector, civilian and defense contracts and financial information on the performance of the publicly traded companies on the list.

We’ll be presenting a Top 100 webcast on June 24 where we’ll dive into the Top 100. This also will give you a chance to ask questions about the rankings and trends in the market. Click here to get more information and register for the webcast.

On June 8, we’ll begin publishing profiles and analysis on the leading companies on the Top 100. We’ll be releasing a couple stories each day over the next two weeks. We’ll send alerts via our homepage, social media and our daily newsletters as those stories become available.

We’ll bundle links to all of our coverage on this page, so check back often to see what is new.
