Noblis details CFO transition

Noblis' chief financial officer and a member of the original leadership team that stood up the nonprofit in 1996 is retiring and his successor has been named.

An original member of the executive team that helped standup nonprofit science and technology organization Noblis in 1996 is retiring from the firm.

Chief Financial Officer Mark Simione will retire from Noblis on July 8 and be succeeded by Gary Sladic, whom the firm said this month has been appointed deputy CFO ahead of the transition.

Sladic is currently vice president of finance and accounting at Reston, Virginia-headquartered Noblis.

Also an original Noblis executive team member, Sladic is credited as being key to each of the nonprofit’s acquisitions since it separated from MITRE in 1996.

Simione is a senior vice president who also holds the titles of chief administrative officer and treasurer at Noblis. He joined Noblis from MITRE.
