Dcode books 5-year DHA tech education pact

Dcode is touting a new five-year basic ordering agreement for educational and advisory services to the Defense Health Agency in support of efforts related to acquisition strategy and technology outreach.

Dcode has booked a new five-year basic ordering agreement for educational and advisory services to the Defense Health Agency in support of efforts related to acquisition strategy and technology outreach.

All components and organizations within DHA can order Dcode’s services off the agreement, which is intended to help the agency connect with emerging companies and create a new risk-taking culture within. Exact terms of the basic ordering agreement announced Wednesday were not disclosed.

Dcode’s curriculum and other services for DHA will include identifying sector-specific megatrends, outreach and engagement to attract emerging companies for contracting activity, scouting and vetting to source emerging solutions, and agile acquisition strategy and support to encourage nontraditional emerging company participation.

The announcement of this pact with DHA comes nearly a week after Dcode unveiled a similar five-year agreement with the Air Force’s AFWERX technology accelerator organization also covering educational and advisory work.

Founded in 2015, Dcode works with federal agencies on mechanisms to help tech companies from outside the traditional pool of vendors get into the federal market and educate agency leaders on where next-generation tools are coming from.
