Telos appoints new finance chief

Telos Corp. hires a new chief financial officer as the current CFO plans her retirement after helping lead the cyber company's initial public offering.

Telos Corp. has hired nearly two-decade finance veteran and former Honeywell International executive Mark Bendza as chief financial officer.

Bendza’s appointment takes effect Monday (today) and he succeeds the retiring Michele Nakazawa, Telos said Monday. Nakazawa will stay with Telos to work on special projects with the Telos leadership team and support the transition.

Nakazawa has been Telos’ CFO for 17 years and along with CEO John Wood the cybersecurity company through its initial public offering late last year.

At Honeywell, Bendza was most recently vice president of investor relations.
