Alion secures $896M Navy training support win

Alion Science and Technology books an $896 million training support task order with the Navy.

Alion Science and Technology has reported its win of a potential five-year, $896 million task order to continue helping the Navy further evolve a training environment for combat readiness.

The Navy awarded the task order through its Seaport-NXG professional services vehicle for work over one base year and up to four individual option years, Alion said Thursday.

Dubbed NCTE, the Navy Integrated Training Environment connects users throughout the U.S. and in partner countries to live, virtual and constructive training. Alion will connect two other training ranges into the NCTE environment.

McLean, Virginia-based Alion has supported both the NCTE and Navy’s Enterprise Tactical Training Network for at least two decades, CEO Steve Schorer said in a release.
