Govini board elects Work as chair

Govini's board of directors elects former Defense Department No. 2 leader Robert Work as chairman.

Govini’s board of directors has elected former Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work as chairman of the board of directors, the national security data and analytics firm said Monday.

“Bob is well known across the public and private sectors as a luminary in areas of defense strategy, programming, budgeting and readiness, supply chain security and acquisition reform, and advanced technologies like artificial intelligence," Govini founder Eric Gillespie said in a release.

“In this era of great power competition, his vision and expertise will serve us well as we continue to develop unique data science based decisioning solutions for the Department of Defense."

Work first joined Govini’s board of advisers in August 2017. He also is a member of the board of directors for Raytheon Technologies Corp.
