Former SRA CEO adds new board gig

Former SRA International CEO Renny DiPentima joins the board of directors at a software development provider for federal agencies.

Former SRA International CEO Renny DiPentima has lined up a new board of directors seat in addition to the two he already holds.

In a release Wednesday, Gunnison Consulting Group said DiPentima has joined its board that late last year also added former IBM U.S. federal leader Anne Altman.

DiPentima currently serves on the boards at Capgemini Government Solutions and Amida Technology Solutions.

At SRA, DiPentima helped take the company through an initial public offering in 2002 as part of its leadership team. He was its CEO from 2005 to 2007 and chief operating officer for the two years preceding that.

He was chosen for the President's Award in 2016 as part of that year's Federal 100 awards program.

Prior to SRA, he was deputy commissioner and chief information officer for the Social Security Administration.
