Perspecta appoints former AT&T public sector executive Rocky Thurston as a senior vice president for civilian and state and local group.

Perspecta said Thursday it has appointed former AT&T public sector executive and two-decade federal market veteran Rocky Thurston as senior vice president for the civilian, state and local group.

Thurston more recently was client executive VP for AT&T’s air, space and strategic defense business line. He also held leadership roles at Wyle, Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton.

In a release, Perspecta touted Thurston’s experience in software, infrastructure, cybersecurity and analytics.
