Excella books $292M OPM tech services pact

Excella reports an almost $292 million blanket purchase agreement for technology services to the Office of Personnel Management.

Excella has won a potential five-year, $292 million blanket purchase agreement for software development and other related technology services to the Office of Personnel Management.

OPM sought Excella’s support amid the prospects of many of the agency’s core programs merging into the General Services Administration and hence needing to prepare systems and processes ahead of time.

The BPA has one initial base year followed by four option years, Excella said Tuesday. Work will include systems analysis, architecture and design along with development, testing, maintenance, updates and project management support.

Excella has worked with OPM on human resources efforts since 2005.
