Navy taps 7 for $98M engineering, air traffic control contract

The Navy names seven companies to a $98.5 million contract for engineering services to support air traffic control and landing systems.

The Navy has chosen seven companies for a five-year, $98.5 million contract to provide engineering services for the branch’s air traffic control and landing systems and several other programs.

All seven proposals were selected for award and awardees will vie for task orders to perform work over the contract’s duration, the Defense Department said in its Thursday awards digest.

Awardees are:

  • BAE Systems
  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Coherent Technical Services
  • Engility Corp. (acquired by Science Applications International Corp.
  • Gryphon Technologies
  • J.F. Taylor
  • Valkyrie Enterprises

Companies will also support unmanned programs across the entire U.S. military and developmental efforts such as the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System, a GPS-guided tool that guides aircraft onto carriers and amphibious assault ships.

Work will take place through April 2024.
