SAIC appoints new CIO

Science Applications International Corp. names former Engility CIO Nathan Rogers to the same position in the wake of their combination.

Science Applications International Corp. has appointed former Engility Chief Information Officer Nathan Rogers to the same role in a move that took effect Feb. 2.

Rogers’ appointment comes nearly three weeks after SAIC closed its $2.5 billion all-stock acquisition of Engility. SAIC said Friday that Rogers succeeds Bob Fecteau, who will retire from the company in April after having been its CIO since the 2013 spinoff from former parent Leidos.

As CIO, Rogers will lead SAIC’s IT modernization and innovation efforts as he manages strategic planning, operations, governance and cybersecurity. He will report to CEO Tony Moraco.
