BAE books $250M NGA video, analytics order

BAE Systems Inc. takes a $250 million task order for video and analytics services to NGA in support of that agency's technology roadmap.

BAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary has booked a five-year, $250 million task order for full-motion video and analytics services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

NGA has also tasked BAE Systems Inc. to help stand up a new performance innovation council that would introduce agency leaders to new technologies and services developed by the business and its program team, the company said Tuesday.

The new council is intended to align with NGA’s Team GEOINT initiative to help industry, academia, other professional organizations and international allies collaborate on common technical standards to help facilitate intelligence sharing and other partnerships.

Work under the task order will also include training and intelligence production support to help NGA proceed on its technology roadmap for future software, platforms and sensors.

BAE Systems Inc. received the order through NGA’s Multi-Intelligence Analytical and Collection Support Services contract vehicle.
