LMI elevates Todd Stottlemyer to chairman

Nonprofit organization LMI elevates board member Todd Stottlemyer to chairman on the heels of his CEO appointment at CNSI.

Nonprofit consulting firm LMI said Wednesday that Todd Stottlemyer, newly-appointed CEO of health IT company CNSI, will become chairman of the board of directors in a move effective Jan. 1, 2019.

Stottlemyer has been a member of Tysons Corner, Virginia-based LMI’s board for three years and succeeds the retiring Michael Daniels, who has been a director since 2007. LMI credits Daniels with helping lead the firm to double its revenue during his tenure on the board.

In conjunction with his CNSI appointment earlier this month, Stottlemyer stepped down from his former role as CEO of Inova Health System’s Center for Personalized Health after three years in that position. The almost three-decade health and federal technology veteran led Acentia through its sale to Maximus in 2015.

Daniels’ career includes leadership roles at Science Applications International Corp., where as a senior vice president in the mid-1990s he led its acquisition of Internet domain name registrar Network Solutions.

SAIC closed the deal in 1995 and spun out NSI via an initial public offering two years later, then VeriSign acquired NSI in 2001 for $21 billion in stock.

He is also a former chairman and CEO of Mobile 365, and serves on boards of directors for several publicly-traded and privately-held companies in the government IT and commercial technology markets.
