Carahsoft wins $25M Army cloud migration contract

Carahsoft takes a $25 million fixed-price contract to migrate parts of an Army data warehouse to the cloud.

Carahsoft Technology Corp. has won a $25 million fixed-price contract to migrate parts of the Army Enterprise Integration Program to the cloud.

Known as AESIP, the program is a data warehouse of sorts that allows other systems to share information and work together, according to Army data.

Carahsoft will provide manage services as part of the AESIP Hub to Cloud contract. Most of the work will be performed in Reston, Virginia. The Army received three bids including Carahsoft’s proposal.

Multiple ERP systems tap into AESIP including systems for logistics modernization, enterprise business systems, and tactical logistics.
