GSA plans industry day for IT follow-on contract

The General Services Administration schedules an industry day to discuss the recompete of its CAMEO IT services contract.

The General Services Administration has scheduled an industry day to discuss the recompete of its CIO Application Maintenance, Enhancements, and Operations contract also known as CAMEO.

GSA is using the industry day to promote the follow-on contracts to CAMEO. GSA will offer an overview of the planned scope of work as it currently stands.

CAMEO is the main IT environment that supports GSA's Federal Acquisition Service.

Officials want industry’s input to improve the scope of work to meet determined outcomes. For example, they want a unified vision and approach aligned with the determined requirements and business architecture.

They are also looking for efficiencies to best use new innovative and emerging tools to increase savings in operations and maintenance as well as infrastructure

The event is scheduled for Aug. 7, starting at 9:30 a.m. GSA will host the event at its headquarters in Washington, D.C.
