Salient CRGT moves up Schmitt to senior VP

Salient CRGT moves Edward "Ted" Schmitt up from vice president to senior VP of the health services group.

Salient CRGT has promoted Edward "Ted" Schmitt from vice president to senior VP of the government IT contractor's health services group.

He will oversee Salient CRGT's work with the Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services, plus the Defense Health Agency, the company said Thursday.

This is the Fairfax, Virginia-based contractor's second major executive promotion since former President Tom Ferrando became CEO in May. Earlier this month, Stephen Goehler moved up to executive vice president of operations.

The health services group's range of services include data informatics, agile software development, enterprise system support, data center support, program management and cloud migration.

Schmitt more recently was vice president of Salient CRGT's agile development solutions group. He joined Salient CRGT upon its acquisition last year of Triple-i, where he held the same role before the transaction.
