Jacobs gets $110M sole-source special forces contract

Jacobs has won a $110 million sole-source contract to support surge activities for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

Jacobs Technologies has won a $110 million contract to support surge activities for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The win came after a two-step process. In the first step, Jacobs competed with others via the GSA Alliant vehicle to provide enterprise operations and maintenance support services.

Four companies including Jacobs submitted proposals. Jacobs won that task order in February 2017 and that was worth $771.3 million. That task order runs through March 31, 2022.

For this new award, Jacobs was given a sole source award for surge activities that include the same services.

The work will take place at various locations around the globe and the new contract runs through April 5, 2023.

U.S. Special Operations Command in Tampa, Fla., managed the procurement.
