Hawkeye 360 adds Robert Work, John Mulholland to advisory board

Data analytics company HawkEye 360 said Monday that former Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work and retired Army Lt. Gen. John Mulholland have joined the board of advisers.

The Herndon, Virginia-based company also appointed former National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Letitia “Tish” Long as chairperson of the advisory board, which she joined last year.

Work was appointed last year to the board of directors at Raytheon, which is a strategic investor in HawkEye 360.

Founded in 2015, HawkEye 360 built and operates a commercial satellite constellation that works to identify, geolocate and process radio frequency signals. The company touts itself as a specialist in machine learning and maritime domain awareness, plus spectrum mapping and monitoring.

Mulholland is a former associate director for military affairs at the CIA. His military career also included service in roles such as deputy commander for U.S. Special Operations Command and commander of Army Special Operations Command.
