Delta Resources books $105M Navy warfare systems order

Delta Resources has received a potential five-year, $105 million task order to help the Navy design, deploy and integrate warfare systems onto vessels and other platforms.

Awarded by the Naval Sea Systems Command, the order has a one-year base period followed by four individual option years. Alexandria, Virginia-based Delta said Friday that NAVSEA sought expertise in engineering and interoperability of systems.

NAVSEA is looking to integrate warfare, control and so-called “C5I” systems onto large surface ships, littoral or small surface ships, amphibious platforms and aircraft carriers. C5I is an acronym for command, control, communications, computers, combat systems and interoperability.

The contract’s requirements cover systems engineering services across elements, systems, and families of systems to be used on active and planned Navy warships.

Delta Resources is a woman-owned small business founded in 2000 and generates over $50 million in annual revenue.
