Why: Private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners has created another platform in the government market with the buy of Xebec. This time it is has a platform with roots in the intelligence community. As 2018 got underway, Arlington Capital made another acquisition of Integrity Applications Inc., which it plans to merge into Xebec. Known as IAI, it also focuses on the intelligence community with capabilities in human intelligence and IT services. This pattern is a familiar one for Arlington Capital. It is also active with another platform in Polaris Alpha, which is also continuing to make deals in the market.
