Former AF Secretary James joins TeraThink board

Former Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James joins the board of directors at federal IT and management consulting firm TeraThink.

Former Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James has joined the board of directors at federal IT and management consulting firm TeraThink, the company said Tuesday.

James served as Air Force secretary for four years until the January 2017 administration transition and before that was a senior executive at Science Applications International Corp. for 11 years.

She currently leads her own strategic advisory firm and also is on the boards of directors at Textron, Unisys, Noblis, The Atlantic Council and MKACyber.

James heads to the board almost five months after Reston, Virginia-based TeraThink combined with Dominion Consulting in a merger-of-equals to create a combined entity focused on automation, agile development and cloud computing among other IT skills.

TeraThink’s leadership team includes Executive Chairman Paul Lombardi and CEO Dan Maguire. Former SAIC executive Doug Wagoner was named to the board in December.
