Salesforce has won a contract to provide a variety of cloud services to support human resources efforts by Customs and Border Protection.

The agency will be using Salesforce Analytics, Community Cloud and Service Cloud to modernize HR processes including recruitment, retirements, engagement with citizens, and management of border activities.

With Community Cloud, the agency wants to transform its core HR IT capabilities and become more efficient. Current employees will be able to access information such as onboarding, benefits and payroll.

At the border, Service Cloud will be used to help manage activities and handle citizens via a variety of channels.
