Unisys picks Andrew Boyd to lead defense and intell business

Andrew Boyd has been hired as group vice president for defense and intelligence agencies for Unisys Federal.

Andrew Boyd has been hired as group vice president of defense and intelligence agencies for Unisys Federal.

He comes to the company from McIntire Solutions, a veteran-owned small business that provides advisory and technical services.

Boyd will be responsible for delivering solutions such as digital workspace services, application modernization, cybersecurity and data center and infrastructure services. He will report to Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal.

Prior to McIntire, Boyd was vice president at TASC and managed business with agencies such as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Boyd is a former Air Force officer who served in satellite operations and space-based acquisition and engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and a master’s degree in management of information technology, both from the University of Virginia.
