NCI names new CFO

NCI Inc. has named James Collier as its new executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

NCI Inc. said Wednesday it has hired three-decade government market veteran James Collier as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

Before NCI, Collier was senior vice president of corporate planning and analysis at Leidos. He transitioned to Leidos through that company's merger last year with the former Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Solutions segment. Collier led the strategic and financial aspects of that transaction.

Collier heads to NCI almost three months after it was acquired by H.I.G. Capital and is one of the Reston, Va.-based IT contractor's first major executive hires since the deal's closure.

NCI CEO Paul Dillahay, who joined last year, described to Washington Technology in October the company's growth strategy and rebranding efforts now that it is in H.I.G.'s portfolio.

During his time at Lockheed, Collier held the position of vice president of business operations for several Lockheed operating companies.

He holds degrees in business administration and communications from the University of Washington.
