Army picks five for $249M overseas education, training contract

The Army selects five companies for a five-year, $249 million overseas education and training services contract.

Five companies have won positions on a five-year, $249 million Army contract for education and training services in nine countries across Europe and the Middle East.

The Army received 18 bids for the foreign military sales contract, the Defense Department said in its Tuesday contracts digest.

American Systems, Chochise MTS, Downrange Operations and Training, General Dynamics’ IT business and GovSource will vie for orders to support the Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization.

Work will occur through Sept. 21, 2022 in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Iraq, Qatar, Taiwan and Tunisia.
