CACI International has received a three-year, $173 million task order to perform modeling and simulation systems development work for the Army.

The Army seeks to further develop sensor and imaging systems in areas such as night vision, infrared weapon sights and surveillance systems for use in nighttime or other conditions with limited visibility.

Arlington, Va.-based CACI will help the Army evaluate technologies and concepts to determine their potential use in operations and for sensor system training. The company will also help implement technology updates under the order.

The Army awarded the order through its Rapid Response - Third Generation contract vehicle known as R23G.
