Lockheed Martin promotes three-decade company veteran Stephanie Hill to senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development.

Lockheed Martin has promoted three-decade company veteran Stephanie Hill to senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development in a move to take effect Sept. 11.

Hill will oversee the defense contractor's global strategy and efforts to identify, assess, determine and pursue new business opportunities.

She currently leads the cyber, ships and advanced technologies portfolio as a vice president and general manager in Lockheed's rotary and mission systems segment. That portfolio includes cybersecurity, unmanned aerial systems, intelligence systems and the Littoral Combat Ship.

Her Lockheed career also includes time as a vice president and general manager in the former information systems and global solutions segment now merged into Leidos.

Lockheed shed the IS&GS business to focus on its larger aerospace-and-defense hardware programs.
