LinTech Global has won a potential five-year, $48.4 million contract to provide IT services to the Defense Department's Office of the Inspector General.

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based LinTech beat out 18 other bidders for the contract awarded by DOD's Education Activity agency through a small business set-aside competition. The contract includes one base year with four one-year options.

Areas of responsibility for LinTech include program management and technical support to the IG office. LinTech will also handle phone and on-site support for the IG office's desktop hardware and software, plus applications on both the unclassified and classified networks, according to Deltek.

Work will take place in Alexandria, Va. through Aug. 31, 2018 for the initial base year and could extend to Aug. 31, 2022 if all options are exercised.
