Tetra Tech has won a potential five-year, $77 million contract for IT and professional services to the FAA's office of security and hazardous materials safety.
Tetra Tech has won a potential five-year, $77 million contract for IT and professional services to the Federal Aviation Administration's office of security and hazardous materials safety.
The FAA awarded the contract on June 29 and received four offers through a full and open competition, according to Deltek. Work under the ASH III Program Support Services contract will take place over one base year and up to four option years.
Technical services to the FAA will support emergency operations, contingency planning, intelligence activities and planning to help safely transport hazardous materials in air commerce.
Deltek lists functional areas covered under the contract as including:
- Executive support
- Security programs
- Common identification standards
- Web systems operations
- Application development and maintenance
- Classified systems
