Special Operations Command needs an enterprise data solution

The U.S. Special Operations Command is looking for an enterprise data solution that brings more data analysis and knowledge management capabilities.

The U.S. Special Operations Command is looking for an enterprise data solution for its Special Operations Forces (SOF).

Based on a new request for information, the command wants the SOF information environment (SIE) end-users to complete data analysis and knowledge management solutions. The solution must be scalable to handle new incoming data sources and types of data without changes to the physical architecture. The system also must distribute data globally on demand to authorized consumers regardless of bandwidth or latency.

The command wants industry’s help to identify non-developmental items, determine the technological feasibility of solutions, find the companies that can support the proposal solutions, and assist in defining requirements and setting the acquisition strategy.

The command released its RFI June 19. Responses are due by July 7.
